Dudes, I realize I’ve been silent for a while… Truth is, I am employed. I am so employed that summer-me doesn’t even know what to think. I took a job in event marketing, and while it’s super challenging and interesting, it hasn’t given me a lot of time for the crafty arts. I’m hoping this will change…
For now, I’m using my time at Lillstreet to make some new boxes, taking a second hydraulic press class, and just trying to get in as much craft as a business lady can. I’ll keep you posted on future projects, and hit me up if you need anything fancy & metal.
As a side note, I sent out a request for mojo for my aunt Jill a while back. I’m happy to report that it has been paid in spades. We had a lovely fundraiser for her which featured some of the nicest art works I’ve seen in a long time, and went a long way towards paying the medical bill she’s been worried with. So if you donated a nice thought or sent some good will, I thank you. You’re the kind of people who give me hope for our future, and I hope you feel the same way about folks like Jill, who are making beautiful things whenever they can.
And because I hate to post anything TL:DR, here’s a funny meme of a business cat, since I am all about business now:
