I’ve spent the last few weeks willing spring to happen in Chicago. I’ve seen the sun a couple of times in the last two days, but it hasn’t worked as well as I’d like. Part of my plan was to make flower rings for that Ring A Week thing I’ve been really bad at keeping up with. Oops. I blame Chicago’s lack of spring. It’s a vicious cycle.


My three finished copper rings. I used one of them to experiment with two-stage powder coating, and guess what? Worked like a charm.


I plan on coating the other two to match. Then, I’ve got a different flower ring to post (I’ve been desperate for plant life) and another copper ring to finish. After that, I should only be three weeks behind on my goal! Yeesh.
