Hey! I’m taking a minute to plug my sister, Margo. Mostly because she’s super talented, but partly because I don’t have any pictures of recent metalworks and my resolution to design something every week crumbled under the weight of a giant workload. Anyway, I have recently tasked* my sister with a new project. Let me explain.

For Valentine’s Day, my sister whipped this beautiful little illustration…



… right out of her amazing, imaginative brain. Then, last week I found out that Aziz Ansari reblogged something I had reblogged on tumblr. Now, I’ve never been that close to someone famous on the internet, and it was pretty thrilling. My friend Prashant once received a twitter response from Jaleel White (that was a great day) but I generally keep my internettings to friends and family. But I thought, if a person who knows Ron Swanson in real life is seeing something I’ve reblogged on the internet, and my sister is posting amazing illustrations of Ron Swanson on that same internet, then it’s possible that one day the actual Ron Swanson may see my sister’s Ron Swanson valentine! Then I thought some other things about how I could get Megan Mullally out of the picture, but I digress…

So this week I asked Margo to draw me Jeff Winger in aviator sunglasses. And next week I’ll ask her to do something else. And in the meantime, she’s going to post all of the caricature/pop culture art she’s done on this tumblr. You should follow her, or check in on that from time to time. She’s great, and I really want to meet Ron Swanson**.
